What We Offer


Competitive Wage: $55,000 to $65,000 per year



What You Will Do



  • Conduct physical testing of flexible packaging, raw materials, plastic finished packaging products

  • Ensure the accuracy and verify the quality of printed materials during the proofing process per approved procedures and work instructions

  • Drive activities to obtain departmental goals and objectives

  • Coordinate testing activities, timelines and customer expectations

  • Participate in Quality team activities, support Performance System initiative/5S/Lean Manufacturing

  • Complete customer surveys & performance evaluations requested by the customers

  • Generate, document, report information and results with accuracy and ensure that proper procedures are employed as outlined by the Quality Management System

  • Utilize the Corrective and Preventive Action Requests, conduct Quality meetings

  • Work with customers to develop test protocols, which includes researching methodology, outlining a protocol and validating the methodology

  • Communicates with internal and external customers to gain a better understanding of the testing objective, outlining a test plan and discussing results



What You Bring



  • College diploma in related field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience in flexible packaging preferred, but not required

  • A good ability to question data and question unexpected outcomes

  • Laboratory techniques and safety practices

  • Computer literacy especially in Excel and Word

  • Knowledge of Quality tools (e.g. NCR, CAR, Fishbone, 5Why)

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and ability to manage priorities and workflow

  • Strong interpersonal with both written and verbal communication skills
