About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise Architecture team. As a member of the team, this role is responsible for working closely with Solution Architects and business units to create functional, integration, and technical documentation that provides developers with the information and guidance required to execute solutions.
The Senior Systems Analyst also recommends appropriate actions to address business system issues. This role leads multiple ongoing projects across different technological platforms and is expected to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple modules or applications. Additionally, the Senior Systems Analyst plays a lead role in the strategic planning of various modules and applications.
About Your Day
Analyze business requirements and create mock ups and artifacts for system design and development
Interface with internal customers to manage expectations and resolve issues related to enterprise-wide applications
Document current and desired technical processes to ensure optimal efficiency
Review documentation to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements and identify gaps to resolve
Design and implement scalable technology for business initiatives
Execute assigned tasks within a structured project environment
Implement, configure and develop components of core enterprise applications
Provide technology solutions to business requirements
Work with Software Engineers and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth project delivery and handoff of artifacts
Be a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple modules / applications; and provide guidance to the business and other IT teams
Ability to communicate default system process flow and align this capability with business requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and data flow challenges within multiple applications.
About You
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant role within an IT department
Significant experience in requirements gathering and systems analysis within the Retail or B2B industry
Strong understanding of Product Information Management, Supply Chain, CRM, OMS/IOM, and F&O modules within Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365FO / D365SCM
Proficiency with the Data Management Framework in D365FO / D365SCM
Experience with database technologies, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL
Experience with Microsoft D365, Power Platform, and eCommerce systems is considered an asset
D365 F&O implementation experience is preferred
ECBA or advanced Business Analysis certifications are preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture
High attention to detail
Strong analytical and data‑driven thinking skills
Comfortable using Jira, Confluence, Zeplin, and InVision as part of daily activities
Ability to work effectively in an Agile methodology
Ability to provide production support and respond quickly to issues
Proven ability to resolve production incidents with Subject Matter Expert (SME)‑level knowledge
Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across multiple groups

Hours of Work: 36.25 a week
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Required Travel: Rare, usually within the GTA
Compensation The target hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $71,777.30 - $107,379.81. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
