We are looking for a Physiotherapists who are interested in either:
- Delivering chair-based exercises 3 times per week (8 to 36 hours per participant), or
- Conducting assessments (2.5 hours per participant) delivering exercise sessions online or running research assessment online.
- Case load will depend on recruitment, but hourly rate is $55.
- The candidate will be hired under the University of British Columbia Department of Physical Therapy and will assess and/or facilitate rehabilitation programs for stroke patients by Zoom videoconference.
- The candidate will work from home and will report to Dr. Janice Eng and her research coordinators through emails, phone calls and Zoom meetings.
- Data will be inputted into REDCap (training will be provided).
The candidate must have:
- A university degree in physiotherapy,
- Prior clinical experience in stroke rehabilitation, including stroke assessment, understanding the pathology of stroke, and working with stroke patients with disabilities,
- They must have prior experience in working and communicating with a multidisciplinary team,
- Experience with rehabilitation delivered by videoconference is preferred,
- Experience with research activities is an asset.
The part time work is remote, but the candidate must work within the Province of British Columbia – regions outside of British Columbia are not approved for this posting.
