Become the Infant Director at Kookum’s Place, shaping a culturally grounded educational experience. Emphasize community involvement and a play-based learning approach.

Kookum's Place is actively seeking an Infant Director to lead a 38-space infant program focused on Indigenous perspectives and early childhood development. You will be responsible for the program’s overall operations, compliance with MELCC standards, and mentoring ECE staff. This role offers you the chance to foster an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage centre operations, staffing, and scheduling • Ensure adherence to Manitoba licensing and safety standards • Design culturally relevant educational programs • Mentor and support ECE staff development • Handle enrollment and administrative tasks

Requirements: • ECE Level III Certification essential • Minimum of 5 years in early childhood leadership • Strong understanding of MELCC regulations • Current First Aid and CPR certifications • Must pass all necessary background checks
