Join Discovery Silver in Timmins, Ontario as a Longhole Planner focused on optimizing mining operations. Lead safety and production strategies that capitalize on your engineering expertise and commitment to community.

As a Longhole Planner, you'll direct mining activities, ensuring safety and production targets are exceeded. This crucial role involves developing mine plans, layouts, and overseeing drilling and blasting operations to enhance extraction efficiency. Your input will shape departmental planning and resource optimization, driving value for the operation.

Key Responsibilities: • Monitor drilling, loading, and blasting best practices • Develop safe, cost-effective mine designs • Optimize production and minimize dilution • Provide input on short-term departmental planning • Ensure timely execution of long hole mining activities

Requirements: • Engineering degree or Mining Engineering diploma • Proficient in Deswik mine design software • Minimum 3 years in mine operations and engineering • Strong communication and leadership skills • Ability to prioritize effectively and influence operations group
