Electrical Foreman

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman who enjoys leading crews, staying involved in technically strong projects, and taking ownership of site operations from start to finish.

Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of electrical field operations while working closely with Project Managers, Coordinators, Lead Hands, and site teams, including:

• Leading commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
• Supervising electricians, Lead Hands, apprentices, and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinating daily site operations, manpower, and workflow.
• Maintaining project schedules and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensuring work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code and safety standards.
• Coordinating material procurement, deliveries, and inventory.
• Conducting site inspections and resolving field issues efficiently.
• Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Maintaining project documentation including RFIs, change orders, material logs, and work reports.
• Coordinating municipal inspections and approvals.
• Leading safety meetings and maintaining strong jobsite safety practices.
• Supporting project closeout, including O&M manuals and warranty documentation.

Requirements

This opportunity is suited to a technically strong electrical leader who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing the moving parts of a commercial construction site.

• Red Seal Electrical Certification preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician.
• 2+ years of Foreman experience within commercial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and the Canadian Electrical Code.
• Experience with commercial TI and design-build projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and project technology tools.
• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve field issues efficiently.
• Experience coordinating crews, schedules, and materials across active sites.
