Production Manager

Day shifts Monday through Thursday (4 days)

We are looking for a strong manager who can motivate their team and maintain efficient production, even when priorities change.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will plan and coordinate production and shipping activities. You will ensure the allocation of resources, adherence to deadlines, productivity, and quality, while being present on the shop floor to motivate and support the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan production, set priorities, and allocate labor and equipment;
• Supervise, motivate, and mentor the production team;
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality standards, ISO 9001 standards, and health and safety regulations;
• Monitor productivity, costs, losses, rework, and delays;
• Manage inventory and the needs for materials and supplies;
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs;
• Collaborate with purchasing, quality control, sales, customer service, and project managers;
• Identify and implement improvements to work methods.

Skills and qualifications :

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, operations management, administration, or a related field;
• At least 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including several years in a supervisory role;
• Good knowledge of CNC machining and machine tools;
• Proficiency with ERP software, Excel, and production tracking tools;
• Experience in a CNC machining shop or in the fabrication of metal parts is a plus.
• A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
