About the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Panagos online marketing presence across owned and third-party digital channels. This role combines oversight of social media, email marketing, third-party delivery platforms, digital listings, e-gift cards, and loyalty/rewards initiatives to drive sales, customer engagement, and brand growth. This position serves as the department lead for Panagos digital customer touchpoints and will play a key role in strengthening the brands online visibility, improving digital performance, and helping guide the selection and rollout of a future loyalty/rewards program. The role also oversees social media strategy and direction, with hands-on execution support from a Social Media Specialist and Content Creator.
Activities & Impact
Digital Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Lead Panagos digital marketing strategy across social media, email, third-party delivery, digital listings, e-gift cards, and loyalty-related initiatives.
- Develop annual and quarterly plans that align digital marketing priorities with brand and business goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, retention, digital engagement, and channel performance.
- Represent the Marketing team in cross-functional discussions related to digital programs, tools, and customer experience initiatives.
Social Media Strategy & Oversight
- Own the social media strategy across Meta, TikTok, X, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
- Set direction for content pillars, campaign integration, audience growth, and community engagement.
- Oversee the Social Media Specialist and Content Creator in the planning, development, publishing, and optimization of social content.
- Ensure Panagos social voice is consistent, on-brand, timely, and culturally relevant.
- Monitor trends, platform developments, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for Panago to participate and grow relevance.
- Oversee influencer and creator partnership strategy, including sourcing, briefing, approvals, and performance expectations.
- Manage paid social boosting budgets and review performance to improve reach, engagement, and efficiency.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Own the email marketing program end-to-end, including campaign strategy, calendar planning, creative briefing, build oversight, QA, deployment, segmentation, and performance reporting.
- Develop and execute promotional calendars such as flash sales, app-exclusive offers, and retention campaigns.
- Monitor and optimize audience segmentation, list hygiene, and campaign performance.
- Partner with internal and external resources to continuously improve email effectiveness and customer communication.
Third-Party Delivery Platform Management
- Manage relationships with third-party delivery partners including Uber Eats, DoorDash, Skip, Nuu Catering, and other relevant platforms.
- Lead pricing, promotional, product, and profitability analysis to inform channel strategy.
- Oversee marketplace performance, including sponsored listings, visibility, and promotional investment.
- Participate in partner meetings and manage communication and issue resolution.
Loyalty, Rewards & Digital Programs
- Represent Marketing in the evaluation, selection, and near-future rollout of a new loyalty/rewards program.
- Coordinate loyalty-related campaign planning, approvals, internal communication, and launch readiness.
- Support optimization of loyalty and retention programs through insights, reporting, and operational improvements.
- Oversee e-gift card program management, including promotions, functionality, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Digital Presence & Listings Management
- Oversee and maintain brand presence across Panago, Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Yelp, and other key digital listings platforms.
- Ensure store-level updates are accurate and timely, including hours, openings, closures, renovations, and special notices.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all digital listings and customer-facing information online.
Performance Reporting & Optimization
- Track and report on KPIs across digital channels, including email performance, social engagement, audience growth, 3rd party performance, listing health, and outcomes.
- Translate data into actionable recommendations to improve channel performance and customer experience.
- Present regular updates, results, and recommendations to the Senior Director of Marketing and leadership team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Operations, IT, Finance, Training, and external agencies/vendors to ensure smooth execution of digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate across the Marketing team to integrate campaigns across channels and ensure digital execution supports broader business priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- 57 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, CRM/email, or e-commerce marketing, ideally in QSR, retail, franchise, or consumer brand environments.
- Experience managing multiple digital channels and external partners.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, email marketing, digital customer journeys, and performance measurement.
- Experience working with third-party marketplaces, online listings, loyalty programs, or digital customer platforms is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage projects and priorities across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into decisions and action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team leadership or people management experience is preferred.
