We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and analytical support for shop and maintenance operations.
- Apply and manage identification tags on trailers and equipment, ensuring accurate system linkage for tracking and data retrieval.
- Maintain and update asset, maintenance, and operational data within internal systems
- Conduct research and develop shop requirements through document analysis and ongoing collaboration with stakeholders.
- Define project scope and objectives in partnership with Shop team.
- Develop business cases, project summaries, and needs analyses.
- Prepare clear, accurate documentation such as business requirements, technical specifications, and reports.
- Analyze data and generate insights to support operational efficiency.
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, and recommend effective solutions
- Troubleshoot system and operational issues, providing timely resolution with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with shop, maintenance, and related teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate with Maintenance Departments, Relaying maintenance information and timeline for resolutions and Track resolution time frames.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in an Analyst or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (certification preferred); Tableau Server experience is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of data analytics processes and systems
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and respond quickly to changing business needs
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Knowledge of Truck maintenance and repair would be considered as an asset.
