Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with strong expertise in Cost Management and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, primarily within the Controlling (CO) module, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to cost management and profitability reporting
- Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, with a focus on Controlling (CO) components
- Implement and support key processes including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Collaborate with Finance teams to optimize cost allocation, reporting, and financial planning processes
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities
- Provide functional expertise during S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or rollouts
- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities related to CO modules
- Work with cross-functional teams including FI, MM, SD, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, and provide post-go-live support
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly in Controlling (CO)
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Product Costing / Cost Management
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Good understanding of integration with FI and other SAP modules
- Experience in configuration and business process mapping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting (FI) processes
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and reporting tools
- Understanding of data migration tools and methodologies
Experience:
- 6–8 years of relevant SAP experience, with at least one S/4HANA project
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
Client-facing experience and business acumen
