We are a privately held, employee-owned, fully integrated general contractor with design-build solutions across Western Canada.
We have been serving the energy and municipal infrastructure markets since 2009. The formation of OCL was a direct result of a few long-tenured industry professionals with entrepreneurial spirits, wanting to get back to their roots and build an organization where people matter.
Formed in 2009, OCL started their first project and began building around a business model focused on “People” and “Doing the Job Right”.
Learn more about OCL here: www.oclgroup.ca The Role We are currently recruiting for experienced and safety-conscious Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters for a project in Cochrane, Alberta.
Preference will be given to local candidates from Calgary and surrounding areas. Job Duties/Responsibilities Rigging and hoisting of valves and heavy components using appropriate equipment and procedures Perform bolting, torquing, and flange management as part of valve change-out and installation Join and secure pipe sections according to specifications.
Use test equipment to verify system integrity and check for leaks.
Ensure tasks are completed in full compliance with OCL’s and the client’s safety, quality, and procedural standards.
Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong safety culture.
Ensure a safe team environment Adhere to all company and worksite safety and quality processes and procedures Strong communication skills Desire to work in a team environment Comfortable working outside in various weather conditional conditions Must be eligible to work in Canada OCL Group Inc.
