We are seeking a high‑performing Director, Investor Relations to build and scale InvestX’s direct‑to‑investor channel across Canada.
This role is focused on owning and growing relationships with accredited investors, driving capital raising efforts, and building a repeatable engine for direct distribution. You will inherit an existing book of direct investors, with a clear mandate to re‑engage, deepen relationships, and grow assets under management, while continuing to originate new investor relationships. While the role may require engaging with advisors in the wealth management distribution channel, the primary focus is on building the direct investor channel.
You are a self‑starter with strong commercial instincts—someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, knows how to build trust with sophisticated investors, and can move seamlessly between presentations, client engagement, and hands‑on execution.
This is a highly visible role with direct impact on firm growth, offering the opportunity to help shape how private market opportunities are brought to individual investors in Canada.
