📍 Located in Scarborough, Ontario. Seeking a reliable, patient and experienced caregiver for my daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and non-verbal. You must be comfortable travelling to Scarborough for occasional weekend and evening babysitting. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are preferred. This is an occasional position to start, with the possibility of increasing hours over time based on comfort and fit. The ideal candidate: • Has experience working with children with autism and/or non-verbal communication • Is calm, patient, and respectful of a child-led approach • Is comfortable following specific routines and guidance from the parent • Understands the importance of safety and gentle interaction Important: • Initial visits will be fully supervised as trust is built • No physical handling unless necessary for safety or guided by the parent • Strong communication and reliability are essential If you are compassionate, experienced, and understand the needs of children on the spectrum, I would love to connect.
