Description : Position Summary :
As an integral part of a highly collaborative and consultative team, the Senior Labour Relations Consultant is responsible for actively participating in the collective bargaining process and administering collective agreements while fostering a positive and constructive work environment and an engaged and productive workforce.
The incumbent will work closely with other members of the LR leadership team in helping to develop collective bargaining strategies and in providing advice to management and senior leaders on the interpretation and application of the collective agreements, the investigation and resolution of grievances and the administration of the grievance / arbitration process. This role is also responsible for providing advice and training to management and Human Resources regarding Labour Relations issues and legislation.
