Position Overview:

A growing organization is seeking a Sales Manager (12 Month Contract) to lead and scale its business development initiatives within British Columbia.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts, generating new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
  • Proactively seek out and acquire new business across various sectors.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing, consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and inform strategy.
  • Stay informed on market activity and evolving client needs.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in business development or outside sales in any B2B environment.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in building and leading successful sales teams.
  • Willingness to travel and spend 40%–45% of time in face-to-face client meetings.
  • Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies and sales methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in using data to monitor and improve performance.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
