We are a private household in Richmond Hill seeking a patient and engaging Home Child Care Provider to care for our toddler (born in 2023). 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝗼𝗻-𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵-𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 • Supervise and care for toddler (born 2023) • Prepare and serve meals/snacks; assist with feeding • Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities • Assist with nap routine, bathing, and dressing • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment • Perform housekeeping related to childcare (laundry, tidying, dishes) • Follow parents’ instructions and maintain the child’s daily schedule 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 • At least 1 year of paid experience as a child caregiver or nanny • Secondary school education • English language ability, Cantonese (asset but not required) • Ability to work independently without supervision • Honest, responsible, and patient • Availability for 30 hours per week, with occasional overtime and weekends if required • CPR / First Aid training (asset but not required) • 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 • 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 • 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 • 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱-𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Work Conditions • Repetitive tasks (standing, walking) • Fast-paced environment • Ability to handle daily household childcare activities Benefits • 10 days paid vacation per year • Overtime in accordance with Ontario labour laws Additional Information This position is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals legally authorized to work in Canada.
