Description of Opportunity

August 1, to July 31, plus, at HealthPRO Canadas option, one additional two year term (the Option Term).

The following contract opportunity is included in this RFP:

CONTRACT # CONTRACT NAME DESCRIPTION Deep Brain Stimulation Therapy Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is a surgical procedure used to manage several disabling neurological symptoms, most commonly motor symptoms. Electrical stimulation is used to block abnormal nerve signals in targeted areas of the brain that control movement. Electrodes placed in the brain are connected to a pulse generator implanted under the skin in the chest area.
System components include Lead, conducting wire extension set, Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) which houses the battery and programmable software, patient generator remote control, Clinician programmer, and recharging accessories. Spinal Cord Stimulation Therapy Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) is a procedure that results in the ability to manage chronic pain. Electrical stimulation is used to interfere with the nerve impulses that cause pain. Lead(s) containing electrodes that are implanted in target areas along the spinal cord and are connected to a pulse generator.
System components include Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) or External Pulse Generator (EPG) which houses the battery and programmable software, lead, conducting wire extension set, patient generator remote control, Clinician generator programmer and recharging accessories.
