Position Purpose summary :
Youth support work is focused on supporting promoting and enhancing well-being of individuals and families as well as assisting needs of youth with regular and seasonal programs (including backpacks summer camps and Christmas) and other programs that are developed to meet the needs of youth and the community. This position will provide general support to various services in the Corps setting of a Ministry Unit.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
The incumbent may perform all some or similar range of duties.
CRITICAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT :
Internal : MU leadership and staff volunteers.
External : Might have to communicate with community members.
MANAGERIAL / TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Reports directly to the Corps Officer.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army in its sole discretion (i.e. The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.

Compensation :
The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $18.76 with a maximum of $22.51.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
