Client: Service New Brunswick (SNB) – Business Application Services
Project: ERP Transformation (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP)
Location: Fredericton, NB (Remote with occasional onsite as required)
Duration: April 2026 – March 2027 (with possible extensions)


Overview
Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Level 3) to support the integration of legacy Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) applications with the new Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (SaaS) platform.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging business and technical domains by designing, developing, and implementing complex system integrations, while producing high-quality functional and technical specifications.


Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead analysis, design, and implementation of complex system integrations between Oracle ERP and legacy applications
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for integrations, enhancements, and system changes
  • Design and build database queries, PL/SQL components, and integration logic
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and workflows
  • Develop and maintain data mappings, transformation logic, and interface specifications
  • Support testing activities, including unit, system, and integration testing
  • Collaborate with developers, DBAs, architects, and business stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrums, stand-ups, status updates)
  • Provide technical documentation and ensure compliance with SNB standards
  • Identify risks, issues, and propose mitigation strategies

Mandatory Requirements (M1–M5)
Candidates must meet all the following:
  • M1: Minimum 10 years of IT experience
  • M2: Minimum 5 years experience as a Programmer Analyst
  • M3: Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • M4: Minimum 3 years experience supporting transformative ERP implementations in a public sector environment, involving complex legacy systems
  • M5: Demonstrated spoken and written English communication proficiency

Candidates will be evaluated based on the following:
Business & Analysis Skills
  • S1: 3–5 years analyzing business/technical requirements, workflows, and reporting needs
  • S7: 3–5 years writing and consuming functional & technical specifications
  • S10: 6–8 years strong communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences)
Data & Architecture
  • S2: 3–5 years creating/consuming data models, ERDs, architectural diagrams
  • S4: 3–5 years interpreting Oracle database structures and field specifications
  • S5: 3–5 years analyzing complex database schemas
Technical & Development Skills
  • S3: 2–3 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions)
  • S11: 2–3 years experience with XML-based data integrations
  • S12: 1–3 years experience in .NET technologies (VB.NET, C#, MS Forms) (Oracle experience prioritized)
Integration & Systems
  • S6: 3–5 years designing and testing complex system integrations
  • S9: 3–5 years working on ERP implementations in public sector
Collaboration
  • S8: 1–3 years working with cross-functional distributed teams (BA, Dev, DBA, business users)


Technical Environment
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (SaaS)
