In Canada, we are represented by 6 locally managed electrical and industrial distributors and have over 100+ locations with coverage in 9 provinces.

We are a proud member of the Sonepar Group, the world's largest privately-held electrical distributor. The Sonepar Group is present in more than 40 countries with over 45,000 employees.

What’s In It For You?

  • You will be joining a market leader with over 40 years of experience to help you elevate your potential.
  • You will be working for the world's #1 privately held business to business distributor of electrical products and related solutions.
  • A chance to get involved in the forever growing electrical industry.
  • We house the largest inventory to better service our customers and deliver on sales commitments.
  • An opportunity for career development across many business departments within our organization.

We are seeking a driven professional with strong skills in Project Management and Business Process Improvement. In this hybrid role, you will lead end‑to‑end projects through the Enterprise PMO (ePMO) while also driving process optimization initiatives across the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Business Process Optimization (with a dotted line to the Director of ePMO), you will focus on execution, delivery, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an autonomous self‑starter with strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to identify and implement efficiency opportunities. PMP and Lean Six Sigma certifications are strong assets.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams, assign tasks, and ensure effective communication.
  • Provide regular project updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and remove roadblocks.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and achieve defined outcomes.

Process Improvement

  • Map and analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Lean/Six Sigma–based improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
  • Develop and support change‑management activities (training, SOPs, communication).
  • Track and report KPIs related to project success and process performance (e.g., on‑time delivery, cost savings, cycle time).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with teams across operations, IT, ePMO, and business units to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to design and implement improvements.
  • Contribute insights to strategic planning based on project outcomes and process analysis.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications: PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • 3–5 years in project management, process improvement, or related roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Process Improvement Analyst).
  • Proficiency with project‑management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.)
  • Experience with process‑mapping tools and basic data analysis/visualization.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work independently.
  • Effective leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach.

Benefits & Perks

  • We offer a competitive salary, plus a full set of benefits, including:
  • Flexible benefits program allowing you to choose from options that best fit you and your dependents’ needs. Benefit options include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Spending Account & RRSP matching.
  • Employee Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Discounts and a career path.
  • Regardless of your benefits program, you will receive company paid Life Insurance, and employee paid disability.
