License Required : 3rd Class Stationary Engineer or a B Class Refrigeration License
About the Role
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment safely while abiding by all policies & procedures. As a B Class Refrigeration Operator, reporting to the Chief Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation / maintenance of all refrigeration systems, boilers and auxiliary equipment.

Principal Accountabilities
Maintain refrigeration with ammonia cooling and compressed air systemsFollow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulationsEnsure proper operation of plant and office HVAC systemsMaintain building, roof, floor and report substandard conditionsKnowledge of TSSA standards and PSM (Process Safety Management) requirementsAbility to work in varied environmental conditions such as dust, noise, hot and coldComfortable working in a raw meat (beef & pork) manufacturing plantBasic computer and typing skillsProficient in the English language (reading and writing)Perform emergency duties if required and understand various uses of fire-fighting equipmentComplete other related duties as assigned by the Chief Refrigeration EngineerRequired Qualifications
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaMust be at least 18 years old3rd Class Stationary Engineer or a B Class Refrigeration License is requiredAbility to work continental night shift (12 hours)Preferred Qualifications
