This mid-level role works collaboratively across the organization reporting to the Marketing Manager and also taking direction and feedback from senior leaders and ownership to ensure every design reflects the vision quality and character of the Capilano Group. The Graphic Designer supports creative initiatives across all Capilano Group properties including Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Stanley Park Pavilion Stanleys Bar & Grill Prospect Point Café Moraine Lake Lodge and Cathedral Mountain Lodge.

What Youll Do

• Create captivating visuals across print digital and environmental mediums including signage banners event posters social media content video assets and more.
• Support and stage photo and video shoots that tell the story of our properties and guest experiences.
• Bring events to life. Collaborate on creative concepts and materials for our signature events like Love Lights Hoppy Heights Canyon Frights and Canyon Lights as well as internal celebrations like Friends & Family Night and Light Up the Night.
• Support our teams. Design materials that enhance in-house training culture and communication helping our teams feel connected and inspired.
• Deliver polished print-ready work. Coordinate with vendors to ensure every piece from brochures to banners reflects our brand quality and attention to detail.
• Champion brand consistency. Keep all creative aligned with brand standards while finding fresh engaging ways to tell our story.
• Collaborate across departments. Partner with marketing events and operations teams to ensure design solutions meet both creative and business goals.

What Youll Bring

• A degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
• 23 years of professional experience in design preferably in a creative hospitality or tourism environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop InDesign Illustrator) and WordPress.
• Experience with MailChimp or similar e-mail marketing tools.
• Bonus skills: Premiere Pro Final Cut After Effects photography illustration or video production experience.
• Strong understanding of the full design process from concept through to production.
• Exceptional time management and the ability to balance multiple projects with grace and attention to detail.
• A collaborative positive approach and excellent communication skills.
• A portfolio that shows your creative range brand sensitivity and storytelling ability.
