Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000

The Engineering Analyst uses continuous improvement and analytical methods to understand, model, and improve supply chain processes and productivity. This position focuses on applying industrial engineering principles to optimize warehouse operations, logistics network, and overall productivity. This position requires a self-starter, detail oriented individual able to support multiple projects and/or business functions, possesses excellent communication, analytical skills, works well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functions with supply chain, able to manage and build strong relationships
Position Responsibilities:
- Measure and analyze current operational productivity metrics to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the supply chain
- Perform time and motion studies using time study tools. Collect and analyze data through platforms like SAP, GCP, EWM and direct observations
- Plan and optimize DC Slotting for seasonal programs. Report compliance on the same
- Using Lean/Six Sigma principles to identify cost out opportunities within the supply chain
- Using Home Depot approved AI Softwares to automate tasks and processes
- Develop and maintain engineered labour standards for the distribution team
- Use analytical methods to model/quantify current and future state performance and costs
- Facilitate discussions with key business stakeholders (i.e. Operations, IT) to generate solution ideas and provide status updates and reporting
- Identify and communicate process opportunities through the creation of process/value stream maps for both upstream and downstream DC sites
- Prepare and present project details/updates and ROI analyses as required
- Demonstrates originality and imagination in thinking while developing a solution to a problem
- Resolve complex business issues by breaking them down into meaningful components to determine root cause and redesigning internal and external business processes
Experience & Knowledge Required: - Must fill minimum time-in-position and performance management code requirement
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field of study
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the engineering domain or related supply chain experience
- Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology is preferred
- Certification and experience in data analytics, Time and Motion Study methods (MOST) is preferred
- Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Visual Basic, SQL, Word
- Exposure to Manhattan WMS/SAP EWM, SAP ERP, Productivity reporting an asset
- Experience with utilizing Agentic AI to automate repetitive tasks and reporting workflows is an asset
- Experience with logistics design analysis, distribution network or facility design and exposure to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Writes, speaks, and presents clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and adjusts communication style to the audience by translating and articulating technical concepts to non-technical groups
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Reports to Manager, Supply Chain Continuous Improvement and Optimization
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel required, more frequently within the GTA
- Flexibility in work hours required as per business needs
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time spent sitting in the office. Walking the DC Floor for observations required. Extensive time on the floor required during time and motion studies, process walks
Working Conditions:
- Working in an office setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings, in-person meetings, taking support calls
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, data analytics, or related field

Certifications:
- Supply Chain/Data Analytics, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) an asset
