Our client, a leader in heavy equipment services, is seeking a dedicated On Road Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team. As an On Road Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be an essential part of the service department supporting the maintenance and repair of various heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: On Road Heavy Equipment Technician

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range: Based on qualifications

Shift: Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment including diesel engines, compact equipment, Ariel lift equipment, and other on-road machinery.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and parts used for each job.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and team members about repair status and recommendations.

• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment, diesel engines, and related machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
