Job Title: Senior Architect Location: PCS CA~TORONTO Years of Experience: - Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with a strong background in cloud architecture, specifically in Azure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead architectural discussions and drive technology decisions that align with business goals. Responsibilities: - Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Azure that meet business requirements. - Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams on best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine project requirements. - Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the architecture remains relevant and competitive. - Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Mandatory Skills: - Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and architecture. - Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. - Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures. - Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus. - Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman). - Experience in Agile methodologies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in Azure architecture (, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). - + years of experience in IT, with at least years in a cloud architecture role.
