Description de poste
Job Title: Material Handler Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload materials and productions within the manufacturing facility. Responsibility
  • Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuing that materials are handled with care
  • Transport raw materials and packing to production lines and finishes goods to designated storage or shipping areas
  • Empty scrap metal bins as required
  • Ensure materials are properly stacked, secured and stored to prevent damage or accidents
  • Entering shipping and receiving information into applicable computer software and programs as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations and other safety standards
  • Lead and prioritize material handling activities in conjunction with production leads.
  • Support all shipping and receiving activities.
Academic/Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or qualification
Required Skills/Experience
  • Valid Forklift Certificate
  • 1-2 years operation counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • IFS Knowledge, Shipping/Receiving documentation experience would be an asset.
