7 : 00 AM – 1 : 00 or 2 : 00 PM
About Our Family
We are a professional family in Edmonton looking for a warm, proactive, and development-focused part-time nanny to help care for our young daughter in the mornings.
We value structure, learning, play, and creating a calm, nurturing environment. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys teaching, engaging, and helping a child grow — not just supervising.
This role also includes light household support to help our home run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Childcare (Primary Focus) :
Engaging our daughter in age-appropriate learning activities
Reading, teaching, interactive play
Encouraging creativity and developmental growth
Preparing simple, healthy meals / snacks for her
Maintaining a structured and calm environment
Household Support (Secondary Focus) :
Light kitchen cleanup
Tidying play areas
Light housekeeping during downtime
Occasional simple meal prep (if experienced and comfortable)
Ideal Candidate
Has previous nanny or childcare experience
Understands child development and learning
Patient, warm, structured, and proactive
Comfortable managing light household responsibilities
CPR / First Aid certified (preferred)
Non-smoker
Reliable transportation
Bonus if :
You enjoy teaching and structured play
You have cooking experience
You’re looking for a long-term fit
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
