2 Full Time Anesthetists

Position Information:

Woodstock Hospital is looking to recruit two full-time Anesthetist to join our team. Both FP/Anesthetists or Royal College Anesthetists are encouraged to apply.

The Anesthesia team supports 5 OR’s, 2 endoscopy suites and provides coverage to the following surgical services:
•General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• ENT
• Endoscopy
• Urology
• Gynecology and;
• Obstetrics (including a 24hr epidural service)

We have an amazing team of 9 anesthetists and are recruiting to backfill for a retirement. Call averages about once per week. A call room is available for those who live more than 15 minutes from the hospital.

Woodstock Hospital currently has 178 beds and serves a catchment area of 110,000. We are an accredited with Exemplary Standing and have a state-of-the-art facility. We have approximately 9,400 O.R. cases annually.

Requirements: Independent CPSO license and CMPA coverage
