FL Operator (Day)

We are hiring a Forklift Operator in Markham, Ontario!

Job Description

The role involves picking and replenishing parts from the warehouse using a forklift, manually updating Excel sheets with basic functions, and using a pallet jack. You will maintain a tidy and safe work environment in both the warehouse and production areas, along with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to pick and replenish parts in warehouse.
• Update Excel sheets manually using basic functions.
• Utilize pallet jack for material handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in warehouse and production areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years forklift driving experience.
• Hold External Reach and Counterbalance license.
• Comfortable with lifting up to 50lbs consistently.
• Ability to handle heavy load balance and stacked skids.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications like Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Extended fork forklift experience.
• First aid certification (please inquire if needed).

The working environment is generally clean, with occasional exposure to dust, metals, solder, high noise levels from operating machines, and physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
