About The Role

You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery installation, repair and overhaul of mechanical/electrical installations on the production floor, as well as full facility maintenance.

What You Will Do

• Follow and comply with all safety, work rules and regulations.
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting in the set up and maintenance of equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services, maximizing production time and minimizing down time.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties at a high-volume printing facility.
• Make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production.
• Perform all assigned preventive maintenance activities on production equipment, with the primary focus being the Offset plate maker equipment.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Ensuring compliance with appropriate external regulations and internal maintenance policies and procedures.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

What You Need

• Certificate of Qualification as a licensed Electrician (309A/442A), Millwright (433A/426A) OR Toolmaker (430A)
• Secondary education or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures and high-volume production machinery and systems
• Experience and proven knowledge with Health and Safety Standards
• Driven and energetic with a strong technical background
• Desire to function in a team-based environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and dedication to Team Member morale, customer service, safety, quality and delivery

Compensation

Hourly Wage Progression: $43.04- $47.81 Per Hour. Vista is committed to transparent and competitive compensation. In alignment with our compensation philosophy, this role offers competitive pay, with scheduled wage progression at 6 and 12 months in accordance with company policy.
