Heat Treatment Operator – Aeronautics

Tasks

• Perform heat treatment operations according to established parameters.
• Perform ball blasting operations to reinforce metal parts.
• Participate in laboratory tests and analyses to verify the mechanical and metallurgical properties of parts.
• Perform the non-destructive inspection.
• Prepare and document inspection and test results according to quality requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve technical issues.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

• Hold a DEC or AEC in metallurgy, a DEP in surface treatment, a DEP in mechanical assembly in aerospace or structural assembly, a DEP in welding-assembly or equivalent training.
• Relevant experience in the metal field.
• Knowledge of heat treatment, shot blasting or non-destructive testing processes (an asset).
• Fluency in spoken and written French.
• Rigour, meticulousness and attention to detail.
