Opportunity Details : Assist in supervising and interacting with infants, toddlers and pre-school children and parents / caregivers, Assist in the planning and carrying out of fun and safe games, crafts, activities, songs, snacks and outings for the children and parents / caregivers, Promote healthy and appropriate interactions between the children and adults in the program Skills Required : Interest in working with infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children and their parents / caregivers Interest or experience in participating / facilitating games, arts, crafts, exercise activities and music with children Must present yourself as mature and a positive role model for the children Reliable, friendly, patient, non-judgemental and non-discriminating Energetic, creative and committed to the Early Years Centre philosophy Orientation & Training : Staff provide orientation and training before volunteers are placed in the program On-going support and development opportunities Program Times : Mon, Tue, Thur, Friday 8 : 30AM – 4 : 30PM Wednesday 1 : 00PM – 6 : 00PM Alternate Saturdays : 8 : 30AM – 4 : 30PM Time Commitment : 3 hours per week Minimum of 3 months Powered by JazzHR
