ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY
The Ottawa Region’s Utility Division is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator who is skilled, detail oriented, and result focused. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to Project Managers on construction projects. The successful candidate with report to the Operations Manager.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Assist the Project Manager to ensure performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications are met
- Assist in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines
- Assists in budget analysis, cost and margin projections, estimate project changes and impacts
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Trade and subcontractor coordination
- Build and maintain customer and supplier / vendor relationships;
- Coordination of shop drawings, RFI’s and SI’s
- Document control;
- Purchase supplies and materials as required to complete projects
- The successful candidate may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Degree or Diploma in Engineering is considered an assetWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years’ experience in the construction industry as a Project Coordinator.SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
