Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.

Heli-One Canada has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Component Workshop in their Delta facility. This person plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the MRO processes within a production facility. They are responsible for ensuring that production targets are met efficiently while maintaining to regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies and procedures. The Production Supervisor manages and motivates the production team, monitors workflow, troubleshoots issues, provides technical guidance, and implements process improvements to optimize productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Directly manage and provide guidance to production staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintain quality control standards by implementing quality assurance procedures and conducting regular inspections.
  • Oversee the use of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Identify and resolve production problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Support, Supply Chain, and Engineering to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Provide support on project BOMs to ensure that the correct material demands are in place base on the planned scope of work.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Two years of formal post-secondary training in either a technical or logistical field or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of TCCA and other aviation regulatory authorities’ regulations.
  • Previous experience in a MRO production environment.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to make excellent decisions and set appropriate priorities.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
