They are one of the continent’s largest providers of energy storage and related services.
They are currently looking for a Sr Business Analyst Field Data Capture for their Calgary, AB location.
Responsibilities :
- Provide QA guidance and expertise to the team related to FDC business best practices
- Contribute to QA process
- Steward towards strong data integrity : working with business stakeholders to ensure data quality standards are adhered to
- Be a key systems resource on complex and / or critical issues while working towards development of innovative solutions
- Utilize corporate best practices, maintain master file data to ensure regulatory volumetric compliance and accuracy; working collaboratively with Operations Technology, Operations and Operations Accounting
- Successfully engage, drive and facilitate QA initiatives and deliverables simultaneously
- Work independently with users to execute QA procedure under direction of project managers
- Collaborate with project team members including subject matter experts to establish the QA plan
- Be the QA liaison between the project team, technology team and operational support team
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze issues, contribute to solutions and deliver artifacts to support the QA plan

Qualifications :
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Proven experience with use case and day in the life’ test scenario development
- Exceptional skills in effectively managing multiple tasks, often under pressure and within rigid time constraints
- Strong business acumen - strategic understanding of business processes and the ability to work with different levels within the organization
- Strong knowledge in the Field Operations and Upstream Accounting business process and applications.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Energy Components functionality
- Proficient understanding of regulatory requirements with respect to Provincial Directives (AB & SK);
- Knowledge of DIR 17 (AB & SK) Measurement Requirements for Oil and Gas Operations
- Knowledge of DIR 60 (AB) DIR 36 (SK) Venting, Flaring and Incinerating Requirements
- Must have Oil and Gas experience
- Must have Energy Component / Field Data Capture Experience
