As we continue to grow our footprint in Western Canada, Catalys is looking for a Sales Representative who is results-driven, highly organized, and motivated by new business development. In this role, you will expand our customer base in British Columbia and support customers with tailored lubrication solutions that address their operational and technical needs.
Job Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing a new customer base within the assigned sales region and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. This role focuses on securing new customers for lubricants and related products and services across British Columbia, while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. The position may be home-based, aligned with the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
Execute territory growth strategies and drive new market penetration.
Manage the full sales cycle : prospecting, qualification, needs analysis, proposals, closing, and follow-up.
Build and maintain a consistent source of qualified leads within the region.
Maintain and grow a mixed client base across multiple market segments.
Demonstrate and communicate the value of Catalys products and services to customers.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
Track activities, opportunities, and customer profiles in the CRM; ensure data is accurate and up to date.
Apply strong pipeline management practices to meet and exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with administrative and production teams to accurately identify customer needs and ensure fulfillment.
Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and collections as requested.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Technical Skills / Experience
Strong understanding of lubricant products, applications, and related services; able to explain technical advantages.
Industry experience in lubricants and / or chemicals; petroleum industry experience is a strong asset.
Proven success in B2B sales environments, including territory development and new market penetration.
Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.

Required Qualifications
