Opportunity

We are currently hiring Carpenters to join our team at our shop in Abbotsford. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the craft of carpentry with 5 years’ carpentry experience, preferably with wood processing. This is a full-time position reporting to the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints / shop drawings
• Laying out, building templates, jigs, utilizing hand / shop and air tools
• Employing best practice in fabrication
• Framing within the prescribed tolerances in both rough / finish carpentry through to coating application
• Rigging and loading for site installation
• Eye for quality control / assurance and safety from start to finish

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Needed

To be successful in this position you will be reliable, self-motivated, disciplined, take ownership for your work and have a good command of the English language.

Required

Shifts

Day Shift - 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm, Monday to Thursday.

Afternoon Shift - 4 : 30pm - 3 : 00am, Monday to Thursday

Pay

The Pay Range For This Role Is 21 - 24 CAD per hour (Abbotsford Head Office)
