We’re on the hunt for a Senior Platform Specialist in our Geointelligence team.

The Role

Our mission is to turn data into insight. From detecting changes in fragile ecosystems to monitoring northern ice floes and shipping routes, our near‑real‑time data of Earth observation and the environment makes our Geointelligence team a leader in geospatial imagery, ground stations, enterprise geospatial systems and defence programs.

As a member of the Engineering team you will work on programs such as the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), MDA Chorus Mission, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Satellite, Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC), Square Kilometer Array (SKA) radio telescope, Aeronautical Navigation products, and Marine Insights products. You will develop new capabilities, enhance existing capabilities and deliver solutions to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Cisco switches and firewalls, including Cisco IOS CLI, Catalyst Switches, and Firepower Firewalls.
• Implement STIG hardening and structured cabling, including optical interfaces and twisted pair wiring.
• Troubleshoot Ethernet networks, OSI model, IP TCP / UDP networks.

Salary

The compensation range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
