Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Principal Senior Automation Engineer to join our Global Network Engineering (GNE) team. This role blends leadership of a small team of automation engineers with individual technical expertise within development of network automation and maintaining automation systems.
Network automation is primarily delivered through our in-house application, Argus, which is the source of truth for network inventory, handles compliance and provides reporting used for various purposes including hardware and software currency.

- Experience maintaining infrastructure
- Develop and maintain software tools for network automation and monitoring
- Design and implement network configurations and security policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to optimize network activities including governance, compliance, audit, reporting, health checks, network implementations
- Contribute to pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Document technical processes and maintain version control
