• Expected salary range: $142,000 - $150,000 CAD

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're seeking a Manager, Technology Teams to lead multiple teams of Analysts, Technical Fellows, and Senior Technical Fellows who deliver exceptional semiconductor analysis content to our clients. In this leadership role, you'll translate broad vision and goals into actionable plans, oversee subscription content projects, and provide technical and supervisory guidance to your teams. You'll be responsible for planning, assigning, and monitoring work assignments while ensuring deliverables are met and facilitating effective communication with upper management. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to coordinate resources across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Oversee Project Planning, Execution, and Delivery

• Monitor progress and maintain project plans for all assigned projects

• Identify issues and determine the best options for resolution

• Elevate issues to higher-level management when appropriate

• Resolve resource conflicts by gathering input and facilitating decisions among stakeholders

• Work closely with other teams on project execution

• Provide technical guidance as required

Develop Estimates and Plans for New Subscription Content

• Assess and articulate TechInsights' team expertise and equipment capabilities for proposed technology analysis areas

• Estimate effort and schedule for proposed subscription content offerings; obtaining input from other teams as necessary

• Identify and communicate the effort, schedule, risks, and mitigation strategies for proposed new content offerings

• Ensure that statements of work are clearly understood, articulated, and meet customer objectives

Develop, Train, Manage, and Guide Technology Team Members

• Develop capability and efficiency of the technology teams

• Set objectives and professional development goals with and for individual contributors

• Motivate, guide, and mentor team staff, providing regular feedback and enabling the achievement of individual goals

• Recruit, train, and manage team members as appropriate

• Improve training and tools to keep ahead of technology changes

• Continuously drive changes to improve efficiency

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology or engineering functions

• 5+ years managing teams of 10+ professionals

• Deep understanding of semiconductor technology trends and competitive landscape

• Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent projects on time and within budget

• Experience developing and implementing strategic plans that align with organizational objectives

• Background in semiconductor industry, technology analysis, or related technical field strongly preferred

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives, cross-functional leaders, and external stakeholders

• Demonstrated success in resolving complex resource allocation challenges across competing priorities

• Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-driven decisions using metrics and KPIs

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership

• Experience implementing process improvements that resulted in measurable efficiency gains

• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
