Role overview :
The Software Engineering Trainee role is designed to open the door to a real career in tech, giving participants a meaningful first step into software engineering in an innovative, hands-on environment.
As a Software Engineering Trainee, the individual will support the development of global web applications while working closely with experienced engineers to design and implement solutions. The role focuses on learning and professional growth, giving trainees ownership of feature work, opportunities to strengthen problem‑solving skills, and responsibility for delivering quality outcomes. This experience helps build a solid foundation in core software engineering principles for future career development.
Responsibilities :
Develop assigned features by identifying, defining, and scoping problems to deliver effective technical solutions.
Write clean, structured, and well‑organized code that follows engineering guidelines and conventions.
Test and validate your work proactively, ensuring good quality and addressing defects when they occur.
Provide insightful technical feedback on pull requests and collaborate with senior engineers on complex challenges.
Create and maintain clear documentation for new and existing features and projects.
Collaborate closely with the team, communicate proactively, and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Required qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Coursework or initial experience in programming and web development
Basic programming skills (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript or similar)
Understanding of web development fundamentals
Ability to debug and test code effectively
Willingness to learn modern frameworks and engineering tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Openness to feedback and continuous learning
Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability
Team‑oriented mindset
Fluent English
Preferred qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Internship or project experience with React, Node.js, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git.
