What you’ll be doing
- Plan and lead recreational activities
- Organize and facilitate games, sports, arts, and social events that promote community engagement and well-being
- Engage and motivate participants by encouraging active participation, teamwork, and positive interactions among individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Ensure safety and supervision by monitoring activity areas to maintain a safe environment and address any hazards or behavioral issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members by working with other staff and volunteers to coordinate program delivery and share resources effectively
- Set up and maintain equipment by preparing and managing recreational materials and spaces before, during, and after activities
- Provide guidance and support by offering assistance and instruction to participants, adapting activities as needed to accommodate varying abilities
- Record attendance and report outcomes by maintaining accurate records of participant involvement and providing feedback on program success and areas for improvement
- Promote inclusive programming to ensure activities are accessible and welcoming to diverse populations within the community
This is a volunteer position, ideal for students, creatives, or anyone looking to get involved in meaningful work while sharpening their marketing skills.
