Job Description
Responsibilities :
Lead the demand planning process for respective portfolio, collaborating with product management, procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to gather and analyze data, trends, and market intelligence.
Develop demand forecasts and implement statistical models to accurately project product demand across multiple brands and customer segments.
Collaborate with external parties to coordinate demand planning efforts and foster strong working relationships.
Continuously monitor and refine forecasting methodologies, leveraging historical data, market trends, and predictive analytics to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with supply planning and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels, balancing supply with anticipated demand to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
Conduct regular demand planning reviews and provide insightful analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective communication and alignment between demand planning, product management, finance, and supply chain teams.
Develop and maintain demand planning metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and performance analysis to management.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand planning, and leverage that knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with external parties, cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to stakeholders.
Proficiency in utilizing advanced Excel functions, experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
Proven track record of successfully managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends.
Salary Range : $60,700 - $124,400
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, or Supply Chain Management
5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, or Supply Planning required.
