SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER

Whistler Waldorf School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Social Studies Teacher for the Junior and Senior High programs (Grades 912) . One permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) position is available with teaching assignments across Grades 710 depending on candidate strengths and program needs. The starting salary range is $59000$86000 per year commensurate with experience with opportunities for professional growth and development.

The preferred candidate will have :

• Certification and Education : Valid BC teaching certification or eligibility to apply with a Bachelor of Education or equivalent recognized qualification. International credentials may be eligible for equivalency.
• Teaching Experience : Relevant teaching experience preferred; early-career and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Work Authorization : Legal eligibility to work in Canada or ability to obtain appropriate authorization.
• Professional Skills : Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships.
