Role : AWS Data Engineer

Location : Calgary AB

Mode : Contract

Job Description :

• Experience in Developing big data solutions using S3 and Redshift / Snowflake
• Experience in data migration and processing using AWS services like Glue DataBricks Lambda Function Glue Spectrum etc related to Data services
• Hand on Experience in Glue and Spark for any kind of ETL or ELT load handling the pipeline Parameters Variables Data Like services Data flow with all the component for transform the data and DataBricks implementation
• Hand on experience in writing SQL Queries Views Stored Procedure and Functions.
• Hand on experience in Python and Scala.
• Strong and handson experience on Migrate on prem system to AWS.
• Experience in ER Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling (TopDown Bottomup and CIF(Corporate Information Factory)
• AWS DevOps Experience to code repository and release pipeline
• Interacts onsite with Business Users technical team and provides Solution Clarity on an as need basis
• Assess the landscape and architecture of the existing data platforms
• Understand application and information governance defined standards and AWS best practices
• Understand the current source system databases / files and entities within them
