Nature of Position : Permanent and full-time position

Work Timings : 9 AM to 5 : 30 PM
Work Hours : 40 hours week
Professional Experience (Must Have) :
- 5+ years experience in Marketing, Social Media Management, Graphic Design and Brand Strategy within the Design sector
- 1.5 years of experience within the Hospitality Interior design space
- 3 years experience in graphic design, branding, and visual identity as well as social media strategy and visual content creation
- 2 years experience in website design, development and management, editorial design / publication and copywriting
- Intermediate knowledge of photography techniques
Responsibilities :
Responsible for supporting all marketing, social media, brand strategy and visual identity for Yabu Pushelberg's Interiors and Product areas of business through graphic design.
- Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
- Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions
- Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
- Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
- Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
- Work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
- Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
- Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
- Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
- Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
- Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
- Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
- Copywrite
- Process files and paperwork
Education Experience :
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
Soft Skills :
- Confidence in handling client-facing experiences
- Process-focused, capable of auditing existing processes and advising on new ways of working
- Well-organized with a strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Able to independently execute a project through all phases
- Able to handle diverse portfolios
- Able to execute strategic and creative thinking
Language Proficiency :
English
Software
- Expert level of knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Figma, Figjam and Procreate
- Intermediate level of knowledge in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Miro
Compensation : $70,000 annually
