Xradar Alberta is looking for a motivatedConcrete Scanning / Coring Technician Trainee to join our Edmonton team. In this role, youll gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and have the opportunity to grow your career.You should be willing and able to receive training inCalgary and Vancouver. As an Xradar Concrete Scanning / Coring Technician Trainee, your day-to-day responsibilities may include :

• Using GPR technology to locate and map post-tension cables, rebar, and electrical conduits in concrete structures.
• Performing drilling and coring to create holes and openings in concrete.
• Participating in fieldwork, gaining exposure to a wide range of construction projects across the city.
• Preparing job sites, setting up equipment, and performing clean-up and maintenance of tools.
• Completing job summary reports for client review.
• Assisting with concrete engineering surveys and developing technical skills.
• Interpreting technical marks in concrete slabs to guide drilling and coring accurately.
• Ensuring site safety by following strict health and safety protocols.
• Transporting and maintaining equipment using company vehicles, including logging related activity.
• Expanding project management and business development skills while working full-time in the role.
• Willingness to receive training in Calgary (weeks to months) and occasional training in Vancouver.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
