Machinist

The machinist works under the supervision of the production machining foreman. The selected individual machines industrial pump parts and ensures their quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to various team members.
• Machine steel or other alloy parts on a conventional lathe, radial drill and milling machine.
• Adjust, balance, and measure parts with precision.
• Assess damaged parts.
• Participate in creating plans for part modifications.
• Maintain assigned equipment, workstation, and tools.
• Evaluate the scope of work and its relevance.
• Collaborate and coordinate work with various trades.
• Actively participate in achieving team objectives.
• Observe production-related issues and propose concrete and innovative solutions to implement.
• Perform any other related tasks.
