TECHNICIEN | TECHNICIENNE INFORMATIQUE (RECRUTEMENT CONTINU)
The IT Technician will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support to users and Level 1 technicians in a company of approximately 550 employees, spread across several sites in Quebec.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to complex requests and handle incidents escalated by Level 1 technicians.
- Ensure complete documentation of problem resolution, and support and coach Level 1 technicians.
- Manage the administration of various platforms such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, monitoring systems, etc.
- Participate in projects to improve security and automate operations by developing tools and scripts (PowerShell, Python).
- Be responsible for the proper functioning, updates, license management, and documentation of the company's applications and systems.
- Implement best practices and processes defined by the ITIL framework.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as an IT Technician.ITIL Foundation certification (required). ITIL Practitioner certification, or a security certification such as Microsoft Certified Security (an asset).Proficiency with Microsoft platforms (AD, Azure AD, Exchange, Intune) and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.Strong knowledge of networking, systems, security, and automation technologies.Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service, autonomy, and technical leadership.College diploma (DEC) in Computer Science or equivalent.Bilingualism (French required, functional English).Seniority Level
