Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative with 1–3 years of construction sales or customer service experience. In this role, you will manage rental quotations, reservations, and customer accounts, while promoting company products and services through strong communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills. The ideal candidate is a competitive self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments and understands the full sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery
• Maintain a clean and presentable showroom, sufficiently stocked with merchandise
• Research and maintain a database of contacts and leads.
• Schedule and execute strategic cold calls to new and current customers
• Track and log lost rentals
• Implementation, continuous improvement, and support of Texada Rental Software
• Add visibility to the sales process with consistent and accurate reporting and documentation
• Promote any other goods, or services, that the Company has to offer.
• Profile new and existing customers while ensuring existing customer satisfaction with products, or services.
• Keep current on product knowledge, features and benefits of all equipment potential saleable by the Company.
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements

• 1–3 years of construction sales and customer service experience
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and presentation abilities
• Skilled at multitasking in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude
• Keen attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated initiative; able to work independently and collaboratively
• Competitive, disciplined, and goal-oriented self-starter
• Full understanding of the sales process
• Effective problem-solving and ability to interact across departments
